Deliver AUS

Visas and work rights

Work eligibility

Delivery work is only an option if you are legally allowed to work in Australia. This page is general information, not immigration advice.

The basic rule

Your right to work depends on your visa and its conditions. Always check your individual work rights before starting. Uber may also complete a VEVO check as part of onboarding.

Who this often comes up for

International students, Working Holiday makers, other temporary visa holders, new arrivals and Australian citizens or permanent residents all have different starting points. A visa that lets you be in Australia is not always a visa that lets you work, or work unlimited hours.

What we cannot tell you

We cannot confirm whether your visa allows Uber Eats delivery. Work hour limits, study conditions and visa subclasses change, and the answer depends on your own grant. Check VEVO or the Department of Home Affairs, or get advice from a registered migration professional if you are unsure.
